The
West Australian Herpetological Society Inc (WAHS) was formed to promote a
greater interest and awareness of West Australian herpafauna.
If
you’re interested in learning more about reptiles, their habitat and the ongoing
conservation of West Australian herpafauna come along to one of our meetings.
WAHS holds meetings monthly in Wembley and meetings are open to the general public. Click on the
Meetings button for directions and meeting calendar.
Did
you know that it has been claimed that over 40 percent
of West Australian reptiles have been discovered by amateur herpetologists?
WAHS and its members aim to continue the contribution to the knowledge of
some of the most interesting animals on the planet.
